Cloé Brochard, artiste plasticienne, est née en 1995 à Clermont-Ferrand, France.
Diplômée des Beaux-Arts de Nantes/St.Nazaire en 2019, Cloé Brochard vit et travaille à Paris. Elle explore la sculpture et l’installation en s’inspirant de dispositifs de contrôle et de systèmes d’observations.
À travers des pièces comme (Re)voir ou L’oeil 2.0, elle recontextualise des systèmes de surveillance pour en montrer leur ubiquité. Cloé Brochard interroge l’impact que peut avoir ce type de médias sur notre perception de la réalité. Elle questionne nos rapports contemporains à l’optique, la surveillance et la confidentialité en engageant un regard critique sur l’omniprésence d’outils de surveillance au sein de nos sociétés.
Cloé a notamment participé à l’exposition FURTHEST FOREIGN FREE FACTORY au Suncheonman Jeongwon en Corée du Sud (2019), à l’exposition Hystérie de l’éternité au Galo à Boulogne Billancourt (2021) ainsi qu’à l’exposition GO WEST à la galerie des Beaux-Arts de Nantes (2022).

Cloé Brochard, visual artist, was born in 1995 in Clermont-Ferrand, FR.
A 2019 graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Nantes/St.Nazaire, Cloé Brochard currently lives and works in Paris. She explores sculpture and installation by drawing inspiration from control devices and observation systems.
Through pieces such as (Re)voir or L’oeil 2.0, she recontextualizes surveillance systems to show their ubiquity. Cloé Brochard questions the impact that this type of media can have on our perception of reality. She questions our contemporary relationship to optics, surveillance and privacy by engaging a critical look at the omnipresence of surveillance tools in our societies.
Cloé has notably participated in the exhibition «FURTHEST FOREIGN FREE FACTORY» at the Suncheonman Jeongwon in South Korea (2019), in the exhibition «Hysteria of Eternity» at the Galo in Boulogne Billancourt (2021) and in the exhibition «GO WEST» at the Galerie des Beaux-Arts in Nantes (2022).
