Minuit (Dorian Rigal), artiste lumière et numérique, est né en 1987 à Montmorency, France.
Diplômé de l’École Nationale d’Architecture de Paris Val de Seine (ENSAPVS) en 2011, Dorian Rigal alias Minuit explore le monde nocturne. Il propose d’habiter la nuit urbaine, symbole d’une liberté décomplexée, par l’art numérique : projection architecturale, film d’animation, sculpture écranique et réalité virtuelle…
Son travail est projeté dans plusieurs festivals internationaux de mapping comme la Nuit Blanche (2015 et 2017, Paris), Vivid Festival (2020, Sydney) ainsi que Art Basel (2016 et 2019) et Art Paris (2017). Il présente ses tableaux et sculptures lors des expositions Atmosphères (Paris, 2021) et Au-delà des pixels (Paris, 2022). Il présente son premier court-métrage à la Galerie Perrotin (Paris, 2022).
En parallèle, il crée en 2018 le duo Neon Minuit dans lequel il explore la frontière entre le film et le jeu vidéo. Le duo obtient le prix de l’interactivité au 360 Festival en 2020 et expose au Numix Festival (Montréal), RectoVerso (Laval), New Images Festival (Paris), FIVARS (Toronto), VRHam! (Hamburg), Chroniques (Marseille), Taipei Film Festival et de se représenter à la Gaîté Lyrique de 2020 à 2022 et au Cube en 2021. Ils créent ensemble plusieurs films de projection hémisphérique projetés au Planétarium de Brasilia (2017), Bogota (2019 et 2022), Bueno Aires (2018) au SAT Fest (2020, Montréal).

Minuit (Dorian RIgal), light and digital artist, was born in 1987 in Montmorency, FR.
A graduate of the National School of Architecture of Paris Val de Seine (ENSAPVS) in 2011, Dorian Rigal aka Minuit explores the nocturnal world. He proposes to inhabit the urban night, symbol of a freedom. It is through this prism that he uses digital art: architectural projection, animated film, screen sculpture and virtual reality…
His work has been shown in several international mapping festivals such as Nuit Blanche (2015 and 2017, Paris), Vivid Festival (2020, Sydney) as well as Art Basel (2016 and 2019) and Art Paris (2017). He has presented his paintings and sculptures in the exhibitions Atmosphères (Paris, 2021) and Au-delà des pixels (Paris, 2022). He presented his first short film at the Galerie Perrotin, (Paris, 2022).
He also created in 2018 the duo Neon Minuit in which he explores the border between film and video game. The duo won the price of interactivity at the 360 Festival in 2020 and exhibited at the Numix Festival (Montreal), RectoVerso (Laval), New Images Festival (Paris), FIVARS (Toronto), VRHam!
