Léonore Camus-Govoroff est née en 1997 à Paris.

Diplômé·e des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD), Léonore Camus-Govoroff est un·e artiste non-binaire qui mène un travail plastique pluridisciplinaire entre performances, installations, textes et photographies.

Engagé·e dans un questionnement du corps individuel et collectif, iel s’intéresse aux systèmes de domination dont la biopolitique. Ses recherches plastiques sont nourries par l’éco-féminisme, l’anthropologie queer, la pop culture et le BDSM softcore. Léonore Camus-Govoroff observe les limites physiques et sociales auxquelles font face les individu·e·s, pour poser des constats puis imaginer des transgressions possibles et autres scénarios émancipateurs.

Courant 2019, iel participe à l’élaboration d’Alien She, créée par Cléo Farenc. L’association a pour but de promouvoir le travail de jeunes artistes s’identifiant comme femmes, personnes transgenres, queer et non-binaires.

Graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD), Léonore Camus-Govoroff is a non-binary artist that develops a pluridisciplinary visual work that includes performances, installations, texts and photographs.  

Committed to a permanent interrogation of the individual and collective body, they are interested in the domination systems, including biopolitics. Its visual research is nurtured by a research on eco-feminism and queer anthropology theories, pop culture, and BDSM softcore. Léonoére Camus-Govorff observes the physical and social limits to which individuals are confronted, creating acknowledgments that allow them to imagine a variety of possible transgressions and emancipatory scenarios. 

In 2019, they participated in the elaboration of Alien She, created by Cléo Farenc. The association has as objective to promote the work of young artists that identify themselfs as women, transgender, queer and non-binary.
