Raphaëlle Bertran, peintre, est née en 1992 à Drancy, France.
Diplômée d’un Master de Philosophie de l’art à Paris IV en 2015 et des Beaux-Arts de Paris en 2020, Raphaëlle Bertran déploie sa technique sur de grands formats. Le substrat de son univers pictural est riche: il passe aussi bien par la philosophie (Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Maurice Blanchot, Heidegger…), la littérature (Georges Bataille, Huysmans…) que l’histoire de l’art. Ses compositions apparaissent comme un condensé d’histoire humaine, un univers où absurde, terreur et force de vie se conjuguent comme un reflet très actuel du monde, une actualité restituée à partir de la matière du passé.
Les peintures de Raphaëlle ont notamment été exposées à la Galerie LOFT, à la Grande Halle de la Villette et à l’espace Voltaire à Paris. En 2021, elle est lauréate du prix de peinture Alberic Rocheron. En 2022, elle est lauréate du premier prix de peinture de la 25e édition du prix Antoine Marin et du prix Carré sur Seine. La Collection Société Générale fait également l’acquisition d’une de ses toiles en 2022.

Raphaëlle Bertran, painter, was born in 1992 in Drancy, FR.
Raphaëlle Bertran graduated from a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Art at Paris IV, Panthéon Sorbonne, in 2015 and from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2020. She deploys her technique on large formats. The foundation of her pictorial universe is rich: as it is influenced by philosophy (Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Maurice Blanchot, Heidegger…), literature (Georges Bataille, Huysmans…) and History of art. Her compositions appear as a summary of human history, a universe where absurdity, terror and life are combined into a very current mirror of the world, an actuality restored from the matter of the past.
Raphaëlle’s paintings have been exhibited at the LOFT Gallery, at the Grande Halle de la Villette and at the Espace Voltaire in Paris. In 2021, she won the Alberic Rocheron painting prize. In 2022, she won first prize for painting at the 25th edition of the Antoine Marin Prize and the Carré sur Seine Prize. The Société Générale Collection also acquired one of her paintings in 2022.
